It's all in the mind. How long have you been smoking for?

Been there! Done it!

Piece of cake, just do it, you could also smoke yourself sick, with a hundred an hour! Works wonders! Go down to the local hospital and see them all suffering, poor buggars! I guess the state should foot the health bill for them all everyone paid enough in tax over the years!

Smoking should be banned altogether! :P

Gong Xi Fa Cai stranger.

Welcome back. What's it been, about 5 or 6 months?

I've now passed 3 years since I quit. I agree. Just do it!

8.5 months for me! Once you've made the decision to quit, not stop, QUIT, then it's embarassingly easy...use us as a support group, no need to go to a meeting to listen to others bitch about smoking and quitting when we here are so good at doing the same!...you don't even have to leave yourr house, just log on and we'll bitch at or with you!

Good luck!

Threw away the lighter and an open pack of marlboros 9yrs back. Never looked back since, felt uneasy for the first 3 months or so and coughed for 8 freaking months! The specialist I saw at TTSH for the cough said I shouldn't have gone cold turkey, better to have it reduced slowly as I had been smoking for 11yrs. What the heck, the episode's over almost a decade already and I have never been happier being smoke-free :D
