No one uses leather anymore? I used to make decoys and have a box full of carving knives. A little rouge dust on the razor strap, 10-12 strokes at 22 degrees and I'm good to go. Also use it for my filet knives.

Mine came from my dad and previously had two uses, those of you from the U.S. might remember the second role these straps played. lol!
