CNY Dinners

Post by Asdracles » Wed, 06 Feb 2008 2:57 pm

This is my first CNY in Singapore, and based that I know that most of shops will be closed or on a very light schedule next two days, Im wondering about the food places.

I would like to go tomorrow for dinner for any nice restaurant/buffet for CNY dinner, but I wonder that can be too late (because most of them booked) or impossible because some places closed.

Can you suggest any nice place where I can try my luck??

Thanks!

cant suggest anywhere! you will have to hunt for them. like you rightly said, those that are open are full booked or will be long queues (like the good old days when McD selling burgers with hello kitty!)

It will be difficult. Also, the CNY experience with tossing yu sheng and all that is not really something you can do by yourself or even with a girlfriend; you need a pretty large crowd for it to be any fun.
