Anyone seen The Wire?

I watched The Wire a few months back when a friend lent me season one on DVD, I was skeptical at first but it blew me away, after crud like CSI and all these other US "cop" shows this comes along and really impressed me with its realistic story lines and non happy but real ending. Since then I have watched seasons 2 and 3 but when I ask most people about it, they say they have never even herd of it and I cant find it on cable either.

Has anyone else seen this show?

Yup, best show on TV, but I have not heard it mentioned in singapore, I just finished watching season 4 (on a par with season 1 it is that good!) but had to buy it from the US.

Yup, best show on TV, but I have not heard it mentioned in singapore, I just finished watching season 4 (on a par with season 1 it is that good!) but had to buy it from the US.

Havnt seen season 4 yet but after having seen the first 3 I eagerly await getting the boxset of the 4th, cant figure why it hasnt taken off.

Agreed, one of the best shows on TV.

I've downloaded seasons 1-4 and am currently catching up with the 5th (and unfortunately final) season now
