A few weeks ago we bought a beautiful bougainvillea plant about 4 feet tall for one of our balconies. Now however, it seems to be balding, i.e. leaves have been falling off and it's looking quite skinny. It's flowering less as well. We get plenty of sun, and water according to what the nursey told us. Have been doing research on the internet but all the sites seem to be US based and talk about what to do with them in the climates over there.
Any bougainvillea owners out there who could share some advice about how you're caring for your plant? I thought they were supposed to be super sturdy?
Similar situation with our orchids, leaves are dropping and we don't seem to be seeing any new shoots coming out.
Thanks for any insight!
