Anybody play golf here?

Hey,

I came across this website and wonder if the members are restricted to expats because I am a Singaporean Chinese.

I play golf in Poresia every Saturday mornings and will welcome golfers to join us irregardless males or females.

where is the best place to play golf here? i've only been in sg for 5 months and want to get in the swing of things - no pun intended!

Hi all,

I have been playing very irregularly over the last couple of years due to heavy travelling schedule. I have an expired PC... no handicap. Only playing for leisure - Like the game but not the super serious type

Am moving into a role with less travel and would like to play more golf and expand group of golf kakis I can play with. Used to play in Bintan, Batam, JB and some courses in SG. If need an additional ball to form a flight, let me know - email - [email protected]

Tried to pm you but can't because I didnt have enough posts to use that feature so am replying post to answer your query. There are a couple of nice and easy 18 holes courses in Singapore - Jurong CC is one of them and the other one is Orchid CC. The other courses like Raffles CC, Tanah Merah CC, Laguna CC... are a little more difficult. As these are CC, they will probably ask for your HC though. The only public course I have tried in Singapore is Green Fairways... can be extremely tiring on a hot day as it's a walking course

I am also an amateur golfer, new to SG and would be keen to join you guys for a game, once I recover from current injury.

Does anyone know how we can obtain a 'handicap certificate'? I recall reading somewhere that you can take a test ot something. Thx

I organise golf games in Batam on a regular basis for a small group and anyone is free to join.
