Permanent Hair Removal

The beauty salons that promote permanent laser hair removal. (armpits, legs)

Is it really permanent? People say there's no such thing and hair will still grow out later on.

Anyone tried or knows anything about it?

You can try the National Skin Center that provides Laser Hair Removal. They claim it's better solution than Electrolysis. U can get more information at http://www.nsc.gov.sg/cgi-bin/WB_ContentGen.pl?id=80

Some people pay about $1k to salons, but I dun quite believe in them.

You have to go for a few sessions to completely get rid of the hair, not just a single time.

Plus the fee is not cheap.

how much does it cost to for the permanent removal of hair per treatment?

i went to beauty international ( i think its a chain store ) at NgeeAnn City where Takashimya is and they offered a course of 10 sessions at 3000 .

at Expressions international, a 10 session course was for 880 dollars.

at both places, the sales manager and consultant was really pushing for a hard sale. when i told them i wouldnt be in singapore for more than 6 months, * you need to do the laser removal sessions , over a period of 6 months at least , i think. ; and they were still really persistent and tried to make any sale from me. they even wanted me to buy a one time only trial session for me " see what its like".

i cant believe how unprofessional the ladies were there at both chain salons.
i know laser hair removal is not common in Singapore and probably where its so expensive but it just doesnt feel right paying so much . I will keep shopping around for the right price.

I am here to recommend u from my friend that she had went to this place and had her unsightful hair removed permenantly..... According to her, per seesion for armpit is $100, per session for lip area is $50, persession for whole leg is $1500, per session for half hand is $800 and lastly for bikini line is $60.

This is the retail price for the company and she told me that she can get 30% off every sinlge session.... AM oso informed that they are using LHE rather than IPL cos the effectiveness of it is better than the latter...

Juz to let u gals know that how price is like for these type of treatments and if any of u gal want or try to know more about it... do PM me and i will ask for u with my friend who is really happy with the result....

I am not in singapore and am gonna be there soon , but would like a definate place where i could get it done and the cost involved

hey guys. i go to Hairaway and they're honestly the best. i've never tried others but i do know that alot of IPLs don't really work.

i went to Hairaway myself for underarms and legs and they work great. you need a couple of treatments but you don't really care about the costs so much when you know for sure it really works and after 6 treatments (at most or thereabouts) no more hair will grow.
