Crikey I have spent a bloody fortune, approx 287.000 pounds in 40 years, going out 3 times a week, drinking 8 pints

That's 600 quid a month which is rather impressive! Are you sure you didn't put in 18 pints?!

Yes quite true, So I guess I should have another go, considering, I haven't drank booze for 40 years, I should be chosing the lowest of drinks, like a pint one day a week, and no spirits.

Although i did have 3 good years on chasers, when I left the Army, but I guess I have also had 10 years of my life without touching a drop. due to liver trouble..So i better reduce my age too, to get a better figure.

I guess i can start having two cans a month next year!

and i have to give up the 11.8% amsterdams...shame really, I used to get a real good sleep, with 4 or 5 cans.

Well this time around 3978 UK pounds for a 30 year binge, 11.05 pence a month, that's more like it

Very true indeed, I was always buying others, when i was pissed, the mind boggles and the money doesn't matter, those days have long gone, forever!

I fell off a bar stool, and it it knocked some sense into me

I beat the odds of Alcoholism, with pure will power, take it or leave it these days!

and it shows in the piggy bank too!

£287k is NOT equal to S$100k! what am i thinking of!!! SGD gone sky high?!!!

ok, let me whip out my calculator (who use mental maths anymore! i threw that out of the window when mobile fones has a calculator!)...

£287,000 = S$803,600 (exchange rate of 2.80).

When I think about it, I started playing league Darts at 15 for a pub, because i was so good at it, trained since I was 10 years old every day, sometimes for 8 hrs a day!

All because my school mates dad, had won the Darts Championship back around 1960...

So even then I was knocking pints back 8 pints a night is normal i guess, mind you it's like water compared to European beers. That's why many Brits' cannot hold their drink in Europe. 6 X 300ml of Danish Elephant beer would be enough for most of them.

Although there is nothing cool about it, the body adapts to alcohol, just need to practise...what a waste of money really, when we are young!

Mm... yeah well that was 'til she arrived in Sg ! What is is about this wonderful place that just makes one want to celebrate ?! (Come in WIMH)
Mind you, I always celebrate with an Oz wine when I do ! Buggar this sense of patriotism ! It's actually possible though extrememy unlikely that 'inkahol' from other places is also good !

And the BEST thing, he he.... now I've got someone else to buy it for me- Oh YEAAAAAH !
