Yes, using a Singapore SIM and yes, using a USB. I brought it to the place I bought it and they are working on it for me. I'm ashamed to admit how much I love that stupid thing. Once you have one, everything else pales in comparison.

I heard on a podcast this week that unlocked iPhones in Singapore will be charged $1000 (don't know if US$ or S$) if they are taken into the shop to un-brick, so be careful

Hi @sprite did you get your iphone fixed ok? As i will be relocating to Singapore in June I'm not sure if i should bring my unlocked iphone. are there guys who can unbrick install firmware jailbreaks etc? if so how much do they charge?

maybe i'll just sell it...
