After EPEC

Hi,

I secured an Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate (EPEC) from Singapore govt. I am now planning to come to Singapore.

Can someone tell me,
1. Do I need to take a Visa to enter Singapore?

2. Should I take a Visa from my home country before coming to Singapore or I shall get the Visa after reaching Singapore?

3. What all documents should I carry with me before coming to Singapore?

Please help me out in this.

Hi there,

Depending on your country, you might require a VISA to enter Singapore... I believe you would require that VISA first before landing in Singapore, else there might be a problem at the airport I think.. hehe

You will definitely need to bring your EPEC so you can apply for a long term visit pass once you land in SIN... That will be handled at immigrations I believe....(not at the airport) And of course, your necessary particulars such as your passport.

In terms of job hunting, I would recommend bringing all your qualification documents such as your degree(s)...

Anyone please correct me if any of my statements are wrong..
