ex-President Suharto of Indonesia reports to Lucifer

Post by saturdaynitespecial » Sun, 27 Jan 2008 4:38 pm

Suharto has passed away.......

there's no way anyone can cheat death - it will come finally.even with the best medical team and the best medical support, the jaws of death will come to all of us.good and bad, high and low, powerful and the weak, the leaders and the sheep, the evil and the virtuous, all will meet mr death and mr karma. nobody will ever escape death.

so why behave badly? so why bully people? why make your friends miserable? why plan so hard for the future? why don't we let go and make everyone happy? why don't we share our fruits? we don't we share our gains? why don't we help the poor, the needy and the impoverished? why don't we forgive? why don't we change and be a better person?

why don't we let go and pass on peacefully gracefully? why cling to this life which we all know will just pass away like a dream - it's all a delusion to cling on. why don't we make everyone happy? why must we punish people and pulverise them? let go and be a good and virtuous person.

you're given only one chance here on earth. do good.avoid evil.help your fellow men.you die a lonely man. from ashes to ashes.from dust to dust.

we really don't know- you or me or anyone else. death is like a thief in the night.it comes suddenly and takes your breath away anytime. since death is inevitable and since life is only temporary, why make people lives miserable and painful?

i really don't understand why people in power and in a position of influence cannot make people happy.why only make themselves happy? why only reward themsevles handsomely? why are they ignoring the cries from the ground?

why? afterall, we all will death leaving nothing - from ashes to ashes, from dust to dust. so why don't they become better people - more magnanimous and more generous. their death will be less painful and less agonising...sad.

.................
*Suharto, who led a regime widely regarded as one of the 20th century's most brutal and corrupt.Historians say up to 800,000 alleged communist sympathizers were killed during Suharto's rise to power from 1965 to 1968. His troops killed another 300,000 in military operations against independence movements in Papua, Aceh and Corruption watchdog Transparency International has said Suharto and his family amassed billions of dollars in stolen state funds.

an death, my friend, is no parenthesis.

I think humans seek security either by gaining sufficient power so that they can defend themselves against attacks, or gaining sufficient influence that they can ward off potential attacks, or by allying to gain power through shared power. As a last resort they may gain security by submitting themselves to someone powerful or by being so untreatening and unoticable that no one attacks them.

I think the better side of humanity shows itself after this baser instinct is satisfied.

In our world today, it appears to me that people who have gained power are often held up as role models.

People emulate these powerful people. In doing so many end up struggling for power. Not because they are bad, their end goal may still be benevolence but in the meantime the social cost is great.

A democracy tries to eradicate this social struggle through giving everyone a vote so as to bypass the power mongering and its influences, It does this by awarding power through the electoral process.

This system, while good on paper, faces many problems in reality in its application.

it might be sad, and he was a badddd man, but his kiddos are rich, spoiled and rotten more then the old man was.

Recall he gave his daughter the jakarta airport tollway as a birthday present when he was pres. that was so sicko

and most indoneasians I have had the pleasure of working with says, all the oil, gold, gas, timber exported and they still drive on bad roads, have poor hospitals and schools and live so poor. This is the sad thing about what he did to the people of indonesia. He USED his people to advance his family life. Think he wanted to be know as His majasty not PM
