Noise from construction

Post by good morning » Sat, 26 Jan 2008 11:01 pm

Hi,
I am writing this at 11pm of Saturday.
A construction site next to our condo in Holland road has noise till now. Made complaints, but nothing changes. :x
Does anybody know Singapore's regulation/law against noise nuisance?
Any advice on what action should I take?

Thx.

I'm not sure, but i think it's 10 p.m Although construction companies can apply for dispensation in certain cases.

i also heard from our agent that it is less expensive for the construction company to pay the fine for working over hours rather than miss the completion date. (?)

There is a lot of truth in that. I've also heard the same.
