Is Lincoln Modern a good place to live?

My husband and I are moving to Singapore next month and last week came there to view some apartments. We rather liked Lincoln Modern. However I am concerned about the construction site next to it and don't know much about the area Novena. Can someone please help me out and shed some light? I'm worried we may be locking ourselves into a nightmare location for 2 years. I'd appreciate any advice... Thanks.

Lincoln modern is a very discerning, ultra modern loft unit developments.
With regards to transportation, it is about a 10 min walk to the closest MRT. Grocery will be about the same.
Novena is close to Orchard, so transportation, shopping is easy.

With regards to the construction works, I was told by my tenant that it can be a little noisy. But you can get units not facing the construction site.
However, this urban projects will not get views eventually as it will be surrounded by high buildings. So if you want panoromic, this is not it.

Rentals should be ard 7k and abv.
