Clueless Dutchman moving to Singapore

Post by Rinaldhounited » Fri, 25 Jan 2008 9:45 am

I'm dutch and curently living in Indonesia and am very interested in moving to Singapore. However, I just have a question or two...

1. Do employers usually look for a person already with an employment permit? or will they interview people without a work visa or an employments permit?

2. Is it normal for companies to employ people without a permit or visa and help them obtain it?

Cheers

In Singapore you cannot already have an employment permit as the EP is tied to a specific job. If a company chooses to hire you, they file for an EP for you.
