Emirates are looking for Full Time & Part Time Recruitment Officer

The Position: We are looking for Recruitment Professionals to work as part of a team to assume responsibility for all Cabin Crew recruitment processes and administrative functions. This will require constant communication to ensure the quality and consistency of procedures and processes to select the best candidates suitable to be recruited.

The role will include meeting numbers and quality of new crew needing to be recruited by participating in multiple overseas recruitment trips, running recruitment in targeted major cities. Note, the role will require regular and frequent travel.

Contribute as part of the wider Cabin Crew Recruitment Officer team innovative ideas and ways to improve the recruitment process, to make it more cost effective, quality focused and time efficient.

Maximise the recruitments results and maintain objective decisions when screening and selecting candidates.

Communicate (verbally and in writing) to colleagues, Emirates staff and candidates on any issue regarding recruitment. Measures include the quality of group presentations, the quality and accuracy of recruitment reports based on recruitment in Dubai and for any overseas trips, accuracy of documentation, minutes from meetings, e-mails, phone calls, use of laptop, changes of schedule, handover information from screening to assessment centre and documenting candidate behavioural evidence.

Actively participate in the pre-trip recruitment planning by preparing (well ahead) visas, tickets, paper work, short listing of CV's, handing over completed documented results and seeking information from previous trips.

Work with colleagues, candidates and external representatives i.e hotels, agencies and candidates in a professional manner by respecting their beliefs and cultures and exhibiting high levels of self control and diplomacy. Measures include feedback from colleagues and other external parties involved in the process and the content of customer service feedback from candidates.

Salary & Benefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. Experience and Qualifications:

•Educated to Tertiary standard i.e. Degree or a Professional

•Diploma/Certificate or equivalent level (in HR or Training, Development, Management, or Psychology, Sociology or similar qualification with preferably 3 years of experience in a professional services environment however corporate recruitment experience is highly desirable.

•OR `A` level (or equivalent) with preferably 5 but a minimum of 3 years experience matching the criteria above

•Full-time position - previous Cabin Crew employment (minimum of 2 years)with Recruitment experience.

•Part-time position - Must have previous experience as Cabin Crew.

Preferred Additional Qualification:
Previous experience and demonstrated ability in evaluating and assessing people through a combination of personal qualities and the knowledge interviewing and other assessment techniques gained through professional training.
