i am a student at a MBA college in Singapore. me and a couple of my friends are planning to hold a rock competition followed by a performance by a guest band, in our college sometime in late may.
i have a few questions that i would be much obliged if i got the answers to.
1) how much does a typical singapore band charge per concert.
2) how much expense can we expect to incur to hold the competition and set up the stage etc?? about 10,000 - 12,000 Sing$ (minus the band fees ofcourse)
3) can you name some of the top business/mba colleges which have decently good music bands, whom we could consider inviting to our competition. i am thinking MDIs, James Cook etc.
Thank you.

If its any help I hired a good (IMO the best one in Singapore) band from Clarke Quay for a corporate function and the cost was just over $10,000.
But not really a "concert" like you stated.
Good luck with your venture!

Hard Rock Hotel Sentosa a place for quarantine?

First post
Such a pity..the place is really nice for a short staycation. Now turned into a quarantine location.

That’s the case for many of the nicer hotels. At least we are able to get some use out of them and help to keep the hospitality industry afloat.
