As a flight attendant you would most likely have a passion, interest or liking for certain countrie(s). In this instance he is merely seeking to see how much you have studied or know about your chosen place and how well you speak (i.e: presentation, pronunciation, posture, eye-contact, ability to answer questions, material sources, experience). Simple ain't it?

Thank you for your advise but i still mention Singapore being my favourite country as it's my 1st try.I appear too nervous therefore i didn't manage to perform well.

Just think of a country you would enjoy visiting and buy yourself one of the 'Lonely Planet' travel guides as a start and then extend your knowledge from there. Don't rely on simply knowing Singapore: that's where you live and is more business orientated than anything else.

round 1 - group interview.
self intro and why you wanna be a cabin crew.

selected ones will be asked to wait for your turn to check certs.

then we're being directed to a room for round 2 - kebaya & skin check

if you get shortlisted again, you go into round 3 - 1to1 interview
which is where i got booted out.

final stage is the management round.

i recommend you read this page: http://www.singaporeexpats.com/forum/ft ... 14235.html

and do browse through this forum thread to find out more, what could be asked and all that jazz..

A few more doubts

Post by baby11 » Mon, 28 Jan 2008 1:20 pm

I'm 26yrs old turnin 27 tis year..hav tried a few times with SQ..sometimes I passed the 1st round, sometimes I don't, there's even once I went til the swimming & check complexion round but kana kicked out..As i hav jus gotten married lately so i'm thinkin is it bcos my change of status & age is affecting my chances? cos tis time round, there were 6 gals selected from my group of 10..which is considered a lot compared to my previous times which they always only select like 2-3 gals for 1st round...sighz...

Yes, i think the will know. When you r done with height taking and hand over ur application form, there is actually two lady, sitting in front of the computer doing stuff, arranging before grouping all of us for the round 1 interview.
