Soap has Thai aircrew in a lather

Post by durain » Mon, 21 Jan 2008 8:46 pm

here's the highlight...

Flight attendants in Thailand want a new television soap to be cancelled because they say it shows them in an unrealistic and immoral light.

here's the full story...

A slippery situation (sorry couldn't resist). I really don't know what the flight attendants are bothered about for years now many members of the public erroneously believe every female flight attendant has a yen to be married to a pilot. The truth of the matter is many are married or have partners elsewhere and have little to do with other aircrew. The same is true of many pilots themselves, a good number of whom are much older than the cabin crew and were already married the day they joined their respective airlines.

I doubt if Queenie-me, Singaporegrrl , Ryanstarr et al see very much of the pilot let alone associate with them.
