EPEC, Social Visit Pass = ability to rent a flat?

Hello,

I am EPEC-approved and waiting for my certificate; once I receive it I'm on my way.

Two quick questions I hope someone can help me with:

1) How long does it generally take from approval to receipt of the paper certificate?

2) With the Social Visit Pass status, can I legally rent an apartment for a year? Otherwise, what do people on this status do?

answer to question 2. you can legally rent a flat with EPEC.
