What is the recommended car seat for the new born? Will we have to get a new one when the little one has grown? My brother has a medium sized car.
Mulling over the idea to get a buggy for my first nephew in Jakarta, I have changed my mind to buy a car seat instead, since I dont think they use buggy a lot in Jakarta.

a new born car seat will only last till the baby is 6-9 months. they have to be facing the back.

i recommend the maxi cosi cabrio. not only it is a car seat, but you can carry your baby in it as well, or snap it into a pushchair, or use it as a rocker on the floor.
