running tracks...

Post by jeremyom » Thu, 17 Jan 2008 5:03 pm

:)

Hey,

I'm in the same boat as you - trying to find any decent off-road running trails seems to be tricky.

Apparently there is a paved track along some "green belt" from Buona vista to Jurong - about 10k. Otherwise, there is supposed to be trails in the nature reserve and around macritchie reservoir.

Let me know if you have any luck!

Jeremy

Singapore has many nice stadium with synthetic track. For off road tracks, there are some in Bukit Timah nature reserve area, Dairy Farm Road, but check if it is a mountain biking track and be careful of the bikes.

Macritchie reservoir

Post by jeremyom » Mon, 21 Jan 2008 9:09 am

FYI - went to Macritchie reservoir this weekend - it has AWESOME running trails. loads of different routes from 4.8km upto 11km which basically follows the reservoir all the way round. Good hills as well!
