Post by si » Thu, 10 Jan 2008 5:59 am

We will be relocating in a few weeks. Our housing budget is $4k. Pls can anyone provide comments on the following condos which seem to be frequently advertised. Can anyone recommend any other condo's. We have small children and also a dog so need to be close to the park. Thanks

Mandarin Gardens
Costa Rhu
Cote D'Azur
Laguna Green
Bay Court
Bayshore

Hi there,

well Bayshore are not bad. You can look at Bayshore Park which is next to Bayshore. It has a big land plot area. My Aunt are staying there,
It is one of the biggest land plot in the east. Altough it is 20 over year apartment but the garden is well maintain. I t has a shuttle bus which yo just pay 1 dollar to travel to bedok intercharge.
Be happy!!!

I pressume you are looking for a 3bed apartment?

Mandarin Gardens - possible with 4k
Costa Rhu - not possible, your looking at least 6.5k
Cote D'Azur - not possible, your looking at least 5.5k
Laguna Green - not too sure, I've heard it's old and has En-bloc potential
Bay Court - don't know
Bayshore - possible, but units are old and dingy looking

There is The Bayshore and Bayshore Park. $4K is definitely within the asking price. I would say Bayshore Park apartments and grounds are definitely large than The Bayshore.

Bayshore Park will have a much larger land space than Bayshore. But I heard Bayshore Park going en-bloc.

Laguna Green is a small low rise development quietly tucked away just off Upper East Coast Road. It's only about 8 years old and has a great bus service right outside

I'd opt for Cote d'azur on the list.

Play hardball in the price negotiations and it should give you a place there for 4K.
