You can buy DECT phones from any shop or department store that sell normal phones. Best Denki, NTUC, Courts, most departmental stores that sell phone equipment. They only cost around $80 up.

just goto any electrical/departmental store/shop and they will sell cordless fone. i know you work from home a lot, but you need to get out more too :P

i suggest you get a fone with speakerfone or a plug-in so that you can use handfree. panasonic dect are good.

DECT cordless phones

Most supermarkets have it.
But in my experience with the Dect phone that i received with my Starhub package is that the battery life is pathetic. Most of the time like say over an hour or so of a call, the battery would die down. This could be due to the quality of the rechargeable battery as well. But in general i guess Dect phones are power hungry because of their powerful antenna.

I just got a Philips DECT phone with handsfree headset option and speakerphone. It seems to work really well so far. The set came with 2 phones.
