Regarding Recruitment Agency

hi all,

askin on behalf of a fren..

how do start-up recruitment agencies usually get their client's job orders and create awareness for the new established agency??

anyone workin in recruitment line who knows this??

Sure do. But with over 1100 Employment Agency licenses having been given out by MOM, we aren't about to give away secrets to have yet another fly-by-night operator start up. Too much cut-throat competition out there already. Sorry.

I think for overseas workers, you still have chances. Like in Taiwan, they are going to start sporting lottery soon, but they don't have enough professionals in this business. So it could be a good opportunity for a start-up agency.

Not so simple. You have to pass a test given by MOM before you can be licensed. You MUST have a license to recruit anybody in Singapore for employment in Singapore. You also need a license to place a Singaporean anywhere in the world if you are based in Singapore.
