Non spicy kids food in the hawker stalls?

Post by Scandinavia » Fri, 04 Jan 2008 4:31 pm

Hi,

I went out with my boys 2 & 5 old to the local Hawker stalls yesterday and the Kids just could not eat any of the dishes presented.

What would you recommend to ask for at the Hawker stalls for the kids?

I heard fried rice is never spicy and that lemmon chicken has been appriciated?

Any other ideas?

A collegue at work said that Chineese food isn´t spicy.

Thanks

S

hainan chicken rice is not spicy :D

then there's hokkien prawn noddles, roast pork and char siew rice, wanton mee, century eggs with pork congee, bak kut tea, fish balls noodle soup, etc.

the list is endless when it comes to food in singapore. even hawker stalls will have fish and chips, but i havent come across one that do meatballs or salted herring :P

Great Durian!

I guess it will take a while before we start finding our way around and it would just be a shame if we would only use old mcdonalds to much when in food city!
