Hi plavt,
so meaning they might recruit this yr>/
Very hard to say, they recruit Singaporeans mainly for their knowledge of language and culture (i.e. Mandarin and of course Chinese culture). The number they require from locals is very small so it depends how many locals retire, leave or get promoted. Just have to wait, time to 'beef-up' your Mandarin and English (written and spoken) as they are the tests that many fail. Try to find someone to help, if you are really serious and have difficulty PM me and perhaps I can give you some advice.
What kind of paper they having, well will it be tougher thana university paper? as i'm a graduate from university of manchester.

I don't think it will be that severe as a good number of candidates are not graduates. However, if I remember rightly the test consists of both written and oral exercises and a good
vocabulary is needed. In previous posters who applied found they were often 'stumped' for words and the equivalent translation of words from Chinese to English and vise-a-versa.

BA's staff are a mixture of various races and cultures but if you are referring to working locally then you will need to meet the criteria above regarding languages. Should you be referring to flights to Malaysia BA no longer fly there.
