Brunch this Sunday??

Postby Asdracles » Tue, 01 Jan 2008 7:00 pm

Hi!

Im back in SG, for those that still dont know, and of course, ready to organize/attend any kind of activity.

I have noticed that the 30's group has less activity since we have a proper subforum, and also I cant wait to get the badge as a proper member of the group, and not more a guest, lol.

So I was thinking, if not everybody is away SG, about organize a brunch this sunday. We have 2 options: go for a normal place (kinda Penny Black, Brewerkz, ...) or go for a nice buffet style. Of course, price depends on election :D

As we have still some days, I will only ask if there are people interested, whats your preference, and in a couple of days I will post the details.

See you all, and happy 2008!!

Too bad, I can't join this activity since I'm flying off again next week.

Have to do some work Sunday morning :x but should be free from about 1ish for a get-together. Place/price/lunch/dinner doesn't bother me - whatever is the consensus

And seem most of the people is out. I cant do it late, neither dinner, so only Javajive, Mystic_amigo and me, so sorrowfully, I must cancel the event.

Will try again next weekend, after the Christmas holidays and so, more people will be here hopefully.

Anyway, all you, enjoy the weekend!!

I think you need to give them more time as most of the people are travelling all the time.

Do you have a list of their email?

Good to have you and your organising skills back in Singapore, Alberto!
Yes you are right, the 30s club has been rather less active recently. Getting our own subforum seemed to coincide with many of the regulars either being away, or running out of energy for organising things for large numbers of people. As you well know it takes a bit of effort! But I'm sure we will get back in to things in the new year.

Heya, not quite 30 but there's no subgroup for the 20's set so yeah...:) I'm not ageist anyway.

I'd like to join the Sunday late brunch/lunch if it's still on...I read that it's already been cancelled but should you guys decide to go through with it, count me in. :D

Asdracles, pity it all fell through. I'd be keen for anything you can get going in the future.
