Documents needed for EP & visa Application

Post by gscout » Sat, 29 Dec 2007 9:31 am

Hello good morning! I'm new in this forum. I just have questions regarding the documents needed for EP and visa application.

I already have an employer in Singapore. They instruct me to send the documents (e.g., diploma, TOR, b-certificate, etc) required for the EP and visa application. My question is, will photocopies of these documents suffice for the purpose or I still need to have them authenticated or certified true and correct? I am planning to send my documents 1st week of January as they are expecting me to start work 3rd week of February and if I have them authenticated, it will take some time and I might not catch up for the timely processing of my EP and visa.

I would appreciate if anybody can enlighten me on this matter. I actually e-mailed already my query to the company's communcations director however she's on leave and will be back after new year yet. Can't wait for her reply as I'm supposed to prepare my documents during the weekend!

Again many thanks for any answer!

Yes they are sufficient. Should they want to see the originals they will request them upon your arrival in Singapore.

Yes they are sufficient. Should they want to see the originals they will request them upon your arrival in Singapore. Normally, it is not needed as normally filing is done online by the employer so there is no way to submit them until your arrival.
