SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers

Merry Christmas

And to you as well!
It was my first in Singapore and I have to say it was wonderful! Walking down Orchard after Christmas Mass and seeing the lights and the crowds and the singing, and everybody happy.
I am from the US, and it has gotten in the US such that you are pretty much discouraged from saying Merry Christmas.. You have to say Happy Holidays for fear of offending somebody.
I think it is great that in Singapore everybody is not only tolerant of each other's holidays, but embracess them with vigor! I can only imagine how exciting it will be to be here from Chinese New Year. I can't wait!
