oh batam is a really good place to go if you want somewhere that is near to singapore. only 45min ferry ride.
i feel that the spa over there is relatively cheap.
I had a weekend getaway like in July this year. Hotel that i went to was Holiday Inn. This hotel is a 4 star hotel that has a award-winning spa known as Tea Tree Spa.
Spas could range abt SGD200-250 per couple? and it comes with a body scrub, rose milk bath, some easter massage and foot reflexology.
REALLY really relaxing. Cos the ambience is really so tranquil. Plus great service from the people who work at the spa. =)
so u could give batam a try.

heh, glad to be of help.
I do advice however to head down there during non-peak seasons. I feel that more 'attention' could be showered upon you. Peak seasons can really get irritatingly crowded too.
