Oh dear, I sincerely apologize about the folly I've made. I am a member long enough but not long enough to know of that policy I was always in the friends making threads

I saw some mentioned that I must have advertise the website (which I have not) and I thought I was being very careful about not violating the regulations.

I thought my contents were very very brief descriptions and leaving my contacts should anyone be interested. As much as I'm aware, I didn't mention the venue, name of the place and the contact no or even a website in the thread.

Please enlighten me. Thanks.

I believe therein lies the problem. Were you advertising items for sale? If so I believe that would be construed as listing items for personal gain and therefore advertising. Where does one draw the line?

I just happened into a good deal on old one-eyed, one-eared flying purple people eaters. If you are interested please contact me. Sounds like I'm selling something doesn't it? If I'm selling then what I am doing is advertising and should be put into the classifieds section of the site.
