Yes, you can have pets--but small ones!

Yes, you can have a pet in an HDB, but they have to be a certain size--and I've only seen dogs.

This thread is cracking me up--thanks for keeping it real gentlemen!

Yeah, it's the land of Hub's out here. Enterprise Hub, Water Hub, Eating Hub, Hubcaps, and last but not least Dormatory Hub! right back at ya!
Funny you should say hub like that, if you knew my address..... being it's a new development. It's still a green field in Google Earth

I wonder if we are in the same building! Cause my building is also a greenfield site on Google. Or it was the last time I checked anyway. :o

Just rechecked. It's more like a redfield site!

Certain (small) breeds of dogs, rabbits, hamsters, birds, fish etc yes.

Cats, no.

Hi boffenl!

I was studying in Baltimore for my bachelor and master's degree during my younger years ;) Used to live in Dell House, Hopkins house. Ring a bell? :P

Btw, care to tell me what is the name of the HDB apt that u r staying right now? Would be highly interested to live there. Thanks.

Rgrds,
Zack

We have beautifully renovated open spaces and great neighbors. We're sold on HDB's since they're at least half the price and twice the "experience" of living in a condo.

How can you stop a stray cat, visiting your home? I've seen hundreds of cats in HDB....they just come and go, when they please! Maybe the gov.sg means no you cannot keep a cat, because they keep leaving all the time

So funny, a cat is more useful for keeping vermin away, than a dog,
