Pei Tong is a pretty decent school. You're fortunate to get a spot there :)

Thanks, we followed the MOE website very closely during the final Phase 2 results. There were 15 spots available at Pei Tong for Phase 3--and we got number 11! Beware, everyone sends their maids to pick up the numbers at the crack of dawn. We were lucky having arrived at 7:30 (when registration started at 8:45!).

The first day was perfect! Her Primary 6 buddy is amazing and even bought her a cup of Milo today for snack. I guess I should have told her the $2 emergency money I gave her this morning could have been used for Milo--oh well. The regular classroom teacher (there were less than 25 kids present today) is very nice but my daughter was just awed by the music teacher who gave each of the kids their own drumsticks! Now I know the way to the heart of a 6 year old. Tomorrow is Science but Friday is the crucial introduction of the Mandarin teacher --she'll be teaching all day I believe.

I'm so pleased I can't put it into words. My daughter is excited and very much looking forward to her second day tomorrow!
