Have you booked your rooms? Lots of hotels charge a premium (double is not unheard of) at Christmas and New Years.

All the flights in that time period that doesn't cost 700 dollars or above per person to Bali or Ankor Wat been gone since beginning of Dec...I hope this was just a hoax, otherwise you are not getting a vacation. Go with Thailand, am there now, and Kos M & Chianmai are excellent during this time of year.

Was in Cambodia at the beginning of Dec when the high season has just started. So everything is not that pricy. It's a place you have to visit at least once in your lifetime!
