My family & I have been in Singapore for a few months & put up in the East.
Saw an article in CityScoops about a Salon called Salon 916 in Siglap & was quite intrigued witht the writeup. Was in Cafe Cartel in Siglap the other day & looking up from my porkribs lunch, saw that Salon 916 was just opposite !
So on impulse, decided to pop in for a haircut after my lunch.
The interior deco is not avant garde but cosy & comfy.
I was served by this lady in boots called Klara. Surprisingly, she spoke very good English & was friendly & professional.
Had a nice hairwash & the reputed neck & shoulder massage. Very refreshing and amazingly good, I must say !
After the wash, come the cut. Klara was very attentive & pretty good with the scissors. Seems she is quite well travelled & all the time, we chatted like old friends.
Overall, it's really a homely environment & a pleasant experience for me.
Gotta bring my missus & my daughter to try on my next trip.
Its a unisex salon right, so anyone have any feedback how's the cut like for ladies, good ?
