more aircon woes

Post by EADG » Sat, 15 Dec 2007 12:27 pm

Friday they came to do regular maintenance

today the unit (let's say unit 2) that never dripped, drips

when I called about unit 2, they mentioned unit 3 has a tray / leak problem, but that was not reported when they did their visit

they say the tray is damaged and needs to be replaced

last time they came, same story, different unit (unit 1)

sound like fraud to you?

what kind of recourse is possible in these cases? is there a BBB of Singapore?

I don't know how common of an occurrence it is, but if this site is anything to go by, it would seem that Aircon Techs leave something to be desired. I guess it is typical of Service Standards here in general though. I doubt it's fraud as much as stupidity. :( However, Enron was a reputable company as was the NKF here. :?
