First: Patriots suck dogballs.

Second, and more to the point - surely it wasn't right to make an example out of him by barring him from doing his job. It should be the employer's choice to keep him or not.
Put him in jail for a proportionate amount of time and then let the market decide what he is worth - would owners take the risk of incurring the fans wrath by hiring this moron?

After all, he did not commit this crime during the course of his work, and the two should not be related - though I believe there is a clause in player's contracts about not bringing the club into ill repute by your actions on or off the field.

Having said that: Bears!

ha ha. I used to live in Chi town and Im a Cubs fan!

The only reason I am shouting for the Pats is that I backed them at the start of the year to win it....

Therein lies the rub. Just like football (soccer) the players/clubs become idols for 100's of millions of kids around the world. Is this the type of idols you want TripleM or The Squidge to drool over, or young boy's to aspire to? I know that wasn't fair but you get my point. To me there is a lot more at stake due to the spotlight they stand in. Kinda like Miss World or Miss America outed with appearances in porno flicks.

Many a balmy day totally wasted at Wrigley and running riot around Wrigleyville afterwards. Barleycorn etc etc Cab into town and have a laugh at the bars in 'boystown" as you go by. Arrive in Fado's, really bombed and try to chat up the bar maid and insult the doorman....

Ah yes, my Saturdays in Chicago...the memories.

Not to mention Dittka's near Rush!

No, SMS, that was not an unreasonable or unfair - you are absolutely right. Role models have a function and responsibility, but just loom att he bunch of hoods basketball players, football players and even baseball player shave become . . . for Christ' sake . . . Hockey Players are angels now. (Go Blackhawks!)

The time of sitting on Wilt's knee or the Bird's shoulders to drop a ball into the hoop are long gone - we all know this to be true.

If it were my decision I'd have his balls ripped off by a hungry Doberman, but that is my heart talking, not my head.

This jag-off broke the law and should be punished according to it . . . and let us hope that good sense prevails and he never lands another well-paid job in his life . . . though I'm sure that corporate greed and colleagues 'nudge-nudge, wink-wink' attitude will see him starting again soon enough.

My first night in Chicago I was asking people where I could find the Russian Division. I thought it was like "Chinatown", my brother had told me to go there.

Took me a while to realise it was Rush and Division...
