Renting a Boat / Yacht in Singapore

Post by fishtank » Tue, 11 Dec 2007 5:38 pm

Hi guys, I wonder if anyone has any experience or know where I can rent a boat or a yacht for 15-20 people here?
Any info or lead will be appreciated. Thanks!

Try Raffles Yatch Club or Changi Sailing Club. They need to know at least 1 week in advance thou, so arrange early.

I thought i'll post my findings for everyone's benefit...

Changi Sailing Club doesn't do boat chartering. They recommend me to call one of their member who does offer such services. 20-30 ppl at abt SGD 3k-4k.

one(degree)15 only offers services for members.

Raffles marina offers surprisingly cheap boat chartering. A max of 10 ppl for SGD 380 for a block of 4 hours or SGD 700 for a block of 8 hrs. No food provided and you can bring your own. They'll just bring you around to like sisters island (?), pulau kusu (?), etc.

www.bbboats.com - been calling but my calls ring out.

fishtank, good to know. There were other people who have asked before too, so thanks for the update.

Maybe you would like to try email [email protected]. She is sales rep for The Long Ranger - a tri-maran yacht that can cater for up to 30 people for any length time desired.

Never rent it myself, nor know exactly what she has, but maybe worth a try.

I had the pleasure of being on The Long Ranger. The Captain Warren is a really nice chap. If you are interested, I might be able to send you more details. They have brochures at the Changi Sailing Club.

I don't know actually. You have to call up to ask. The Long Ranger was just dropping people off at Changi and I was invited up for a tour.

Warren has another boat "Four Winds" for chatered as well and it is cheaper, taking up to 20 people around $2K I believe.
