Hi, have just moved to Singapore and i need a cheap place to rent. Dont know any areas, but would like something close to Tangalin trust school. My only requirements are 2 bed ground floor an very cheap.
Is there any chance? if so what areas an how much will i have to pay.

The school is smack in the middle of the city and in an area that is quite expensive by default. If you want something close, it will be expensive. If you need something cheaper, you need to live further away, more towards to residential areas.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for something on the ground floor. Most have facilities on the ground floors or parking garages. Most have lifts anyway so it shouldn't be a problem unless you are bringing in a huge dog and are afraid of other residents complaints.

You will be looking at S$4000 rent upwards depending on the quality of the
property if you want to stay in this vicinity

i was in tanglin rise
condo before and they got some lovely ground floor with a bit of garden at the back too.
you really got to engage in an estate agent and go viewing to find what you want.

hi there - are you sure you're not thinking of chatsworth? that is smack in the middle of the city - but tanglin trust is a good 15 minutes out on portsdown road.
