Home needed for Cat URGENTLY PLEASE HELP

Post by AussieEm » Sun, 09 Dec 2007 6:11 pm

Hi All,
I have been looking after a cat (foster) but now need to find her a new home as I am leaving Singapore. Its becaome urgent and I have tried all other avenues. SHe is a Ginger cat that has been an inside cat but recently strated to venture outside and has returned happily. If I dont find her a home soon I will have to take her to the SPCA and this is somehting that I really, really, really do not want to do. If you do not have a cat currently and think that you can help please contact me as soon as possible.

Thank you very much.

Kind Reagrds,
Emily

Hi, is there some reason you can't take your cat with you? I brought my two pets from Australia with me and it was pretty stress free. It's not cheap but unfortunately it's one of the responsibilities of pet ownership. Most if not all countries will allow this although some will obviously have quarantine restrictions to be observed.

What is a foster cat? Where is the owner? If the owner gave the cat to you, then you are the owner and not foster owner. I would agree with the rhodroberts, take the cat with you. You should not have accepted the cat if you were not prepared to accept the responsibilities.

Well people are so helpful sometimes...who cares where the owner is I am sure they wouldnt be looking for a home if there was an owner. I would guess its a stray you picked up and have been looking after. There is a cat welfare society and a lady that takes in strays to find them new homes, they are not put down like at the SPCA. You can email this lady: [email protected]. She can put you in contact with the cat lady. Just tell her Lizzy's adoptive family gave you the contact. I would take it myself, but i have 3 already and plenty of strays that like to just wander in and make themselves at home! I hope this is helpful.
