Little advice for a future singaporean

Post by Panete » Sat, 08 Dec 2007 4:45 am

Hi there,

Im a Computer Engineer (Meng) with 2 year exp. looking for a job in IT in Singapore.
Im planning to move in March with my singaporean girlfriend.
I heard its easier to find a job once you are there, but I really would like to have something prior to my arrival.
I wouldnt mind paying for an agency or head hunter as long as they get me something to start with.

Any advice will be welcomed.

P.S.- Do not ask me to marry my girlfriend, I heard it too many times

Computer Engineers are a dime a dozen unless you have a special skillset. Otherwise you will be finding yourself competing with Local graduates who will work for peanuts. (2800~3000 if their luckywith only 2 years experience) Now if your into Security you may have something to offer. Otherwise, the best suggestion is to marry your girlfriend?! :P
