Sydney: The quest for Christmas dinner..

Post by Sparky12 » Fri, 07 Dec 2007 8:13 am

...does anybody have any recommended restaurants for Xmas dinner in Sydney.

Requirements
Good and substantial fare
Nice and 'not-too-stuffy' atmosphere
Nice decor / great views (preferably both)
cost not an issue

Please help !

Try The Summit. It's located in the city, very convenient and has a nice view. Click on http://www.summitrestaurant.com.au/

Yeah the SUMMIT is brilliant ! Not cheap but worth every cent. Did Christmas there last year and will definitely do it again sometime. The views are to die for, the decor and service- really they leave nothing lacking - it may be hard to get in there now cos we had to book quite early I recall....parking in a nearby street was good cos limited restrictions on the public holiday so don't freak about parking.

ozchick, totally agree with you about the restaurant. I did some research and a project on The Summit when I was in Uni. Brilliant place

Sparky12, you're sure to like the place. Click on the link for the Christmas menu on the right side of the page. Enjoy your dinner!
