ksl,

Krispy Kreme Donuts are the Kreme de la Kreme of franchise donuts. I even brings back several boxes each trip from the US. Also damn popular in Aus as well.

Mmm I would have to watch my waistline, then, I love them with ice cream! The queue down in Raffles place is unbelievable every day, for doughnuts!

Although he says he doesn't wish to expand, because the rents are just too high, which is understandable...to have a franchise of them would probably end up a disaster in the long term, with only the Franchisor, benefiting, in the failures of others...One would certainly have to qualify any marketing and sales reports, with ones own! :)
