mountain bike stolen in broad daylight...

hi there,

I left my bicycle on orchard. locked to a pole around 3pm and when I came back it had disappeared.

I called the police but they don't seem to be willing to help.

In case the bike was obstructing the way (which I doubt it was) who is entitled to remove it if not the police?? Don't they have cameras covering all of orchard road?

since I have been attacked by 3 guys 3 months ago and the police didnt do anything about it (even though they have all the ICs of one of them...) I am doubtful anything will be done for my bike and that I will have to fight the administration again...

luxiana, I hate to start talking about racism, but what nationality or race are you? I don't know if that has anything to do with how the police are responding to your problem...

the attack happened in early morning.
I am caucasian.

as for the bike I called the Transport Authority (they were supposed to get back to me yesterday. I'm still waiting). I also called the local police station: "we don't have any record".

not very helpful...

For a start you have to go to a police station and file a report. ASAP.

You can't expect the police to respond to "a call"
Gi give em your details and the best description of you bike ( photo is better) then at least you'll have a case number for future enquiries
