Do NZ TV's work in Singapore?

Post by Alex3 » Thu, 06 Dec 2007 9:32 am

Moving to Singapore.

I know both countries run on the PAL system but have also heard Singapore TV transmits on frequencies which may not be compatable with NZ TV's?

The TV is a 3 year old Panasonic 32" CRT model TX-86PW300A.

Any advice much appreciated.

In any case, should you decide not to bring your TV, you can always buy one here. Electronics are very very reasonable here in Singapore and the prices of new models drop quite quickly too so you can wait awhile and get a relatively new model for a good price.
