I've spent hours reading through the posts on preschools and would like some advice. We will be moving there in June of 2008 and have to choose 3 top schools we want to send our children. They will be 3 and 4 years old. My top one is SAS, I was thinking next of Eton House and then, I am at a loss. Any input on the ones I've chosen or other ones that would come highly recommended? Chances are, we will be living in the District 9/10 area. Thanks!!

Eton House pre school on Orchard is excellent. Great, experiened, inspirational American head, lovely setting (large green garden), good teaching etc.
It only opened last year. Our 3 year old has a place next year and our 2 year old is on the waiting list.
Hopefully they'll go on to Tanglin (we're English) when they get to the top of the waiting lis theret. We may decide to keep them at EH Orchard if it works out well and children are happy.
We visited lots and in my opinion this is the only pre school that is as good as the best back home (prep school). (Didn't look at SAS though).

We are also moving to Singapore in April, with two kids ages 2 and 4. We have been put on the wait list for Preschool and Kindegarten at SAS. I am not sure where we will send them if they don't get in for fall 08. Have you found out any more information about Eton? We will be living in district 9 or 10 as well. Maybe we can get our kids together once we all get settled. They are close in age....maybe they will be in the same class if we get into SAS! We are relocating from the Boston area.
Look forward to hearing from you.

My son is at Eton House on Orchard and it's a fantastic environment. You may want to call as I think there may now be a wait list for certain classes. Eton House is only til age 6 so you would have to have a school after that.
