I bought recently the book "Everyday Indonesian" in order to start learning by myself, but if you find a teacher and would like to share costs, I would be interested, so let me know if you make any progress on this.
Terima kasih

There are few training centre that offers course in Bahasa Indonesia, GNS School to name one.
just try to google it
are you looking for learning the language or you only need translation service?
because the training centre normally only conduct courses..

How do u learn a language from a book? It's difficult knowing if you have pronounced the words correctly, isn't it?

Hi babykasim,
Thank you for the tip! I googled them and found this
http://www.gns-singapore.com but it's just a blank page! I am looking for courses, I don't need any translation services. If you have a website that works, please let me know...
Super Star, it is definitely possible to learn (at least to a certain extent) a language from a book, and this is specially true for indonesian because everyone (mostly some indonesian and malaysian friends) say that it's an easy language, and as for the pronunciation, you just need to pronounce exactly what you read!!! Of course you can go to Indonesia sometimes for a weekend and you can practice and see how good or bad your pronunciation is...

I applaude your willingness to learn the language. It's great that you're so passionate about taking up the language.

Hi folks!
I am not a language teacher, but can help out with practising conversation in bahasa indonesia....
I am a native of Indonesia who just recently moved here after many years living in the US.
Would be happy to put my native language skill into a good use!
Btw I myself am interested in learning Mandarin, at least for daily conversational purposes. Anyone out there speak Mandarin and would like to learn bahasa?

You can try to contact Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia Singapore..
I thought there's a session to learn Indonesian language.
Actually, I also can speak Indonesian and if you really want to learn I don't mind to give an introduction for you to learn about Bahasa Indonesia.
