Hi, Yep. It was a bit better but I didnt like the music too much. I listen between 6.30am and 7.30am before I leave and didnt find any good music anywhere. Just for the record my fav bands would be U2, The Killers, Moby, Kate Nash etc....

Hi, Kate Nash is a beautiful young singer from London. She gets a bit of stick for her cockney accent but she is a very talented musician. Check out her song "Foundations" on YouTube. Either the original video or the Live on Jools Holland version.

Let me know what you think...

going up and down the shipyard today I heard a certain radion station playing Imagine...by someone who could not even sing!
When will they start playing original new music and not bad covers!!
Maybe an idea to start a real radio station??

Considering the popularity of KTV's it would appear that dodgy music is part of the furniture here!

Im listening to Kate Nash now as we speak!

Try Runrig(jockrock!), Show of Hands, Sarah Harmer and see what you think...a lot better than sad covers of great songs!

Mediacorp must pay a small fortune in licensing fees to Fremantle - the amount of Idol and "lookalike" shows I have seen advertised on 5 and Channel U since I arrived here just over a year ago is, quite frankly, disturbing.

Is there any person between the ages of 15 and 30 that has not been on one of these awful shows??

Back on topic, I am also about to chuck out my old radio. But because I am moving :-)
