there are generally 2 types of whitening:?
1 using a take home kit which u use at home yourself, the other is done in the dental office by the dentist, which is much faster
the price for an in-office whitening is around 1000 SGD, you may be able to find some slightly cheaper.
the in-office whitening is of course more effective and faster than the take home kit where the dentist makes u a tray which u bring home.
teeth whitening may be done by lasers, or by chemicals. not much difference whichever way you get it done.
i'm a dental surgeon btw, hope this answers your questions.
cheers!
hi! may i ask if does whitening get rid of the white stains on your teeth?? i think is caused by flouride? how do i maintain or get rid of it??

Re: Teeth Whitening
I’d actually recommend that you try an at-home whitening kit first, before springing for a professional whitening, which costs nearly 20x as much. I use the Crest whitening strips once a year, they do a good job and for under $50, depending on which variant you choose to use. They also have a satisfaction guarantee, where if you are not satisfied after completing the entire course of the treatment you can send them your receipt for a full refund. I have never done this personally, but I assume that they would honor this commitment or that would be problematic. After trying the kit, if you wish to go whiter then maybe consider a professional whitening. Will save you tons of money in the long run.
