We call Base 10, as decimal system and not decamal, since it is this whole 1 that is split by 10, to give each number 1/10th value.
So 1 is the name for the first 1/10th portion & 2 the 2nd 1/10th and so on.
if 0 is considered, it then inadvertantly retains the value of 1/10 in a decimal system & 1/2 in Boolean system.
So even 1 has a basis and the value of which is determined by the Base we use. 1 in base 2 is not the same as 1 in base 10.
